Farming Fashion Coupons!
Want dainty outfits without paying real money?
Introduction. I judge.
Sooo...what are fashion coupons?
Basically gratis weapon and armor skins without having to pay real money. Manner coupons are those purple tickets that you occasionally find later you take defeated a BAM.
...You do know what a BAM is....right?
...Big-*slang discussion for barrel that will get filtered crusade steam*- monster?
...The big guys.
... Mini-bosses?
Whatever. Moving on.
Hither's a couple of ways to become fashion coupons. That I know of. If there are any more than methods, allow me know.
- Killing BAMS
- Obtaining Federation Bills (you get five of them for every day y'all login with a character and are nerveless from the mail service.) and trading them to an NPC called Tikat (ferret-looking dude holding a megaphone) who is in every village except for the major cities. (Velika, Allementhaia, Kaiator.)
- Opening up a Style Coupon Lootbox, which costs about 1K gilded on trade broker as of fourth dimension of writing.
- Buying sure lootboxes from the in-game store.
- Received as a reward from Vanguard Initiative Example Quests.
- Special in-game events. No ane knows when these come up.
So what are Fashion Coupons used for?
Unproblematic.
When you have at least one Fashion coupon in your inventory, right-click on it and you will be taken to this window:
Hither you tin can preview outfits by left-clicking them and buy them by correct-clicking them. Attempt not to get those two mixed up.
Keep in listen that these outfits are locked to your form. I know, it sucks. And so if your class wears metal armor, y'all can merely wearable and preview metal costumes.
So if you like an armor style and want to article of clothing it all the time, these are your solution. Plus, if information technology says "Dyeable" in the description, y'all tin dye them any color you desire! I would recommend ownership Apothecary dye from the Trade Broker instead of wasting gold on dyes that simply last for an hr. Apothecary dye is cheap and is permanent.
Q: Why can't I preview Mode Coupon outfits in the new Dressing Room?
The devs take stated that right now you tin can only preview outfits from the In-Game TERA shop, only even items that were previously in the shop aren't there. Since information technology is supposed to permit you lot preview every outfit in the game for your character perhaps this volition change in a future update.
Expect, whoa whoa whoa...that sh*t'due south expensive!
Aye I know.
The cheapest outfits are 100 coupons. Some go for as high every bit 500!
Well, you could drop some gold on a Mode Coupon loot box at the trade broker and go 200 instantly, but well...if you don't have that kind of money, and so what?
...Well, estimate you could attempt to salve up federation bills for the outfits you want...
Only to get enough for the outfits that cost 100 coupons, yous would have to log into the game 20 times. And you can only claim Federation bills one time a day, so that's xx days of logging in just to get v coupons.
And if yous want that Style Coupon loot box, you lot would demand 400 Federation Bills. So that would take you
80 DAYS...Buuuuuut there is an easier style to farm hundreds of coupons inside a few hours!
Farming Coupons the Piece of cake Way!
- Create or Log into a Pre-existing Graphic symbol, and level them up to 40. If your character(s) are Level 58 or upwards, you can skip this and the next step.
- If you have enough character slots, create an Elin Reaper character. Play through the tutorial where upon completion, you get some decent gear and are level 58. If this is your get-go time playing a Reaper or desire some tips, consult this[tera-forums.enmasse.com] guide.
(Every bit a side note, I DO NOT desire to hear any bs about the Elins or the reapers, and then if you commencement a flame-bait or debate war, I Volition DELETE YOUR COMMENTS. This is NOT Global Chat. We've heard it already.)
- Upon acquisition of Level 58 (or higher), immediantly teleport or take a pegasus to Kaiator if you aren't there already. From here, fly to the boondocks of Scythera Fae, located in Sylvanoth in Northern Shara.
- Head directly southeast into an abandoned settlement in Seeliewoods (the lower-left corner of the minimap). What you are looking for here is a BAM known as a Feytouched Lithikuma. There are 4 of these that spawn here within the little abased settlement and they are level 58, which is perfect for your newly-created reaper. (provided yous have created one. Any level 58 character will exercise)
Once you have killed a (or a few, PRAY TO RNGesus!) Kumas, they will drop 10 FASHION COUPONS EACH. BINGO!
Now I know people say that the Vengeful Water ice Giants near Ebon Belfry are the fastest way of getting Fashion coupons, simply personally the Kumas in Seeliewoods are much easier to farm off of since in one case they agro on you, they merely sit all the same for a few seconds, making them easier to kill without them attacking!
1 disadvantage of farming off the kumas is that at that place are only 3 channels in that area, and at that place'due south only one place where a grouping of kumas spawn near each other. The best time to subcontract for kumas without other people getting in your way is in the early morning hours, since that'south when servers seem to exist less populated. And always change channels if more than ane other person shows up to subcontract.
Another disadvantage is that RNGesus likes to troll. While coupons do accept a decent drop rate, don't wait them to drop everytime you kill a kuma.
With a few hours of grinding, depending on what costume(s) you want, you should get plenty to beget 'em!
Conclusion
Well, I guess that's information technology for at present. If you have whatsoever questions or think something needs to be added to this guide, delight let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading!
You lot need to sign in or create an business relationship to practice that.
